The Smoak Bar and Grill at Malmaison Manchester are unlike anything Manchester has seen before. According to Malmaison CEO Robert Cook, its success should see both bar and Grill roll out across more Malmaison hotels.

Smoak offers a total indulgence of the senses just minutes away from Piccadilly Station. A 95-cover restaurant and bar, Smoak offers a stylishly relaxed interior with a choice of booths, banquettes and counter stools, will be open for lunch and dinner. Skilled mixologists are on hand to serve imported beers, cocktails and Champagne from the unusual sunken bar in the centre of the restaurant.

Also at Malmaison Manchester, alongside Smoak, is the Ember Lounge, an elegant cocktail bar where guests can relax and enjoy their drinks served at the table. The Ember Lounge is an open, fresh and light space with platinum grey panelled walls, antique mirror glass and a warm grey Arabescato marble floor and bar.

Guests will be tempted by the Ember Lounge’s signature cocktail, the Smoak Stack – created from Buffalo trace, caramel liqueur, pear juice and served in a jam jar, with smoke from apple wood chips cascading out.
