Leah Clarke Talks Travel
Leah Clarke is responsible for seeking out scripts for future film and television projects for DNA films production.
What’s the best hotel you have stayed at and why?
I think probably The Silken Hotel in Bilbao opposite the Guggenheim as recommended by ET Travel. It came just at the right time, was classy, understated but very luxurious and not too expensive either. Second choices would be - Bab Ourika or Villa Maroc both in Morocco.
Favourite Restaurant and what’s your favourite dish there?
St John, St John Street – Literally anything they make is delicious.
Second choice – Moro on Exmouth Market.
Favourite Shop:
Selfridges for everything.
Favourite Club/pub:
The Charles Lamb in Islington.
Favourite location and why:
New York – always exciting and different.
Most memorable film?
The Breakfast Club.
If you could go anywhere for a day where would it be and why…?
For one day??? Probably LA to see if it lives up to the hype.
…and what would you do there?
What you would expect! Drive in to the Hollywood Hills in a convertible, walk on the beach in Santa Monica, hang out on the Sunset Strip…

Buenes Aires, Argentina for steak and horse-riding.
