Do You Want to Breeze Past Security at JFK?
Club World London City is a 32-seat Business Class only service between London City airport and New York JFK.
On the journey from London City to New York, the aircraft stops to refuel for the transatlantic crossing. Whilst the aircraft is prepared for the journey to New York, passengers pass through United States Customs and Immigration formalities; this allows the flight to land in the US as a domestic flight, meaning passengers bypass New York passport and customs control.
On arrival at the US Pre-clearance hall passengers briefly disembark and complete an additional security screening process to comply with US security regulations. British Airways will complete the processing of any hold baggage you may have for US Customs beforehand.
Once security is cleared, passengers proceed to the US Pre-clearance desk to complete Immigration formalities, before boarding the flight and setting off on the transatlantic crossing to New York.
This short stop is under 45 minutes and there is a gate side lounge with complimentary Wi-Fi too.
As passengers have cleared US immigration at Shannon they are free to bypass US Immigration and Customs at JFK. Simply follow the signs to exit the airport, collecting any checked in bags from the domestic baggage hall on the way and head straight into New York.
It couldn’t be easier to travel to the airport from the City of London and much shorter check-in times have been arranged for passenger’s convenience. You can take advantage of OnAir capability during the flight, allowing you to send emails or texts from your mobile phone.
