45 Park Lane Opens – Dorchester Collection

On 1st September, Dorchester Collection’s ninth hotel, 45 Park Lane launched, with Wolfgang Puck’s first venture in Europe, CUT at 45 Park Lane.
Throughout the hotel, luxurious and contemporary interiors by New York based designer, Thierry Despont, provide a club-like feel offering the city’s in-crowd and the most seasoned of jetsetters a smart but discreet environment from which to enjoy London. Each of the spacious 45 rooms and suites offer views of Hyde Park, as does the spectacular Penthouse Suite featuring a spacious balcony with panoramic views over Hyde Park and Mayfair. A striking central staircase will lead to the first floor featuring Bar 45, a library and a private media room.
World-renowned chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck makes his restaurant debut in Europe with CUT at 45 Park Lane, a modern American steak restaurant featuring great food in a contemporary and dynamic environment. CUT at 45 Park Lane will mirror the award-winning original CUT in Beverly Hills offering outstanding steaks, a superb wine list and impeccable service.
Bar 45 is a dynamic space buzzing with life and light, featuring a black granite bar with a striking back lit amber glass front. As well as serving a varied selection of unique cocktails, Bar 45 boasts the largest selection of American wines in the United Kingdom, and a bar menu of ‘Rough CUTS’ by Wolfgang Puck.
Situated on the first floor, a private Media Room with ten large and comfortable armchairs is available for private hire; perfect whether you are screening the latest blockbuster to a small discerning crowd, or a collection of personal memories for a family reunion. The Media Room features state of the art Bang & Olufsen equipment including a 103 inch 3-D television, 3-D glasses and surround sound system.

Guests can take advantage of the Fitness Studio located on the first floor, which is open 24 hours a day. 45 Park Lane has a team of massage therapists that who are happy to perform a variety of treatments, including the bespoke 45 Park Lane experience, all of which can be enjoyed within the privacy of your guest room or suite.
