Passport Entry Requirements

On 24th January 2011 the United Arab Emirates entry regulations were changed. All passport holders now need to have a minimum of 6 months left on their passports when arriving in the United Arab Emirates. This information is applicable to all nationalities requiring entry into the United Arab Emirates.

Strict entry requirements and minimum passport validity are not uncommon. Remember to check your passport with enough time before you travel.

A sample of other countries that require minimum 6 months passport validity to enter*:

Saudi Arabia – 6 months

United States – 6 months

United Arab Emirates – 6 months

Russia – 6 months

Mexico – 6 months

Canada – 6 months

China – 6 months

Singapore – 6 months

Thailand – 6 months

India – 6 months

Sri Lanka – 6 months

Malaysia – 6 months

Notes on other countries:

 Australia – Passport must be valid for the entire trip, however no minimum after that
